At Alora Packaging, we understand that reliable delivery is critical to your brand's supply chain. Because all of our packaging products are manufactured custom to your brand's specifications, our timeline consists of two main phases: **production lead time** and **transit shipping time**.
1. Production Lead Times
Your estimated delivery date is a combination of production time and shipping transit time. Production begins only after:
- Your design dieline proof has been reviewed and approved.
- Full payment or agreed deposit has been processed.
Standard production times vary by product style:
- Custom Mailer Boxes: 8–12 business days
- Custom Rigid Boxes: 10–14 business days
- Stand-Up Pouches / Mylar Bags: 12–15 business days
- Folding Cartons & Cardboard Boxes: 8–10 business days
- Custom Inserts & Sleeves: 5–8 business days
2. Shipping Methods & Transit Times
We offer multiple shipping tiers depending on your order volume, destination, and urgency:
- Standard Ground Shipping: 3–7 business days (delivered via FedEx, UPS, or DHL).
- Express Air Shipping: 1–3 business days (recommended for urgent or small-batch launches).
- LTL Freight (Palletized): 5–10 business days (required for large volume shipments, rigid boxes, or heavy corrugated orders). LTL delivery includes options for liftgate service and inside delivery upon request.
3. Tracking & Order Status
Once your custom packaging order has passed our quality assurance checks and is packed, you will receive an automated email notification containing your carrier tracking number(s) or bill of lading (BOL) for freight shipments.
High-value orders or bulk freight deliveries may require a physical signature at the time of delivery. Please ensure your delivery location is staffed during standard carrier business hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time).
4. Shipping Claims, Loss, and Damage
All shipments dispatched by Alora Packaging are fully insured. In the rare event that your order is damaged or lost in transit, please follow these guidelines to expedite a resolution:
- Inspect on arrival: For LTL freight, note any visible pallet or carton damage on the delivery receipt before signing.
- Report within 48 hours: Take clear photographs of the damaged packaging and product, and send them to our support team at [email protected].
- Reprinting: Damaged items will be expedited through production and reprinted at no additional cost to you, subject to carrier validation of the damage claim.
5. Customs, Duties, and International Shipping
Alora Packaging proudly ships worldwide. For international shipments outside the United States:
- Unless explicitly quoted as DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), all international orders are shipped DDU/DAP (Delivered Duty Unpaid), meaning import duties, taxes, and custom fees are the responsibility of the customer.
- Customs clearing delays are beyond our control. However, our logistics team will assist in providing any necessary commercial invoices or documentation to facilitate clearance.
